Born and raised in the tree-leaved metropolis of East Sacramento, Joseph was lured down to Southern California when he received both the prestigious USC Presidential Scholarship and the National Hispanic Scholarship to study theatre at the University of Southern California. Since graduating Magna Cum Laude, he has acted in a multitude of community and professional theatre productions including Benvolio in Romeo and Juliet at the Theatricum Botanicum and Art in Boni Alvarez’s Looking Towards Lourdes. He is acclaimed for two plays that he wrote and starred in, Little Big Joe the Bug Squasher and Swimming to China in My Birthday Suit. Joseph has also appeared in several short films including R.F. Rodriguez’s Mac, an adaptation of Macbeth. Blacked Out is Joseph’s first written film.
Erica Lamkin began her acting career doing theater in the San Francisco Bay Area, most recently appearing in the Mountain Play production of Hair. Since relocating to LA, she has focused on film and television opportunities. You may have seen her on the popular online series, Hot Tub Sleeper Picks, or on America’s Most Wanted (no, she didn't commit the crime!). She recently starred in the Brianna Lee Johnson music video, United in You. Also, she is excited to announce that her new short film, which she starred in, Blacked Out, will premiere at the Sacramento International Film Festival in late April 2012! She could not be more grateful for the love and support of her talented fiancé, Jeff, and her fierce family and inspirational friends.
